The Man Without Fear is coming back to our screens this March with Daredevil Born Again, and this time around, he is joined by some allies. Now we all know that Frank Castle aka The Punisher will assist Matt. Along with him, The White Tiger will also make his MCU debut as one of the said allies of Daredevil. Will White Tiger Appear in Daredevil Born Again?

The White Tiger’s appearance was speculated in Daredevil: Born Again. Later on, some set photos were revealed featuring Kamar de los Reyes in his White Tiger suit and other cast members of Daredevil Born Again. However, when the news of Kamar de los Reyes’s demise came up, fans had the question if his character will still be featured in the upcoming show.

The answer to that question is yes, the White Tiger will appear in Daredevil Born Again since all the scenes featuring him were shot before the actor passed away and will serve as a final tribute to Kamar’s acting talents.

Who Is Playing The White Tiger in Daredevil Born Again?

The White Tiger (Hector Ayala) is played by Kamar de los Reyes in Daredevil: Born Again. However, he sadly passed away from cancer in December 2023 and this role in Daredevil: Born Again is the final time he will appear on screen. He rose to popularity after appearing as Antonio Vega in ABC’s One Life to Live. He has also appeared in the highly popular video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 as its main villain, Raul Mendez.

Who Is The White Tiger in Marvel Comics?

The first White Tiger was Hector Ayala, who will be appearing in Daredevil: Born Again. In Marvel comics, he made his first appearance in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #19, released in December 1975.

Hector got his powers through the Jade Tiger amulet. The amulet gave him a class 10 superhuman strength, speed, and stamina. On top of that, he is a master of almost every form of martial arts, which makes him a formidable foe even against enemies that have significantly more superpowers than him.

However, Hector was killed by ‘Kraven The Hunter’ and, later on, his daughter, Ava Ayala, took up the mantle of the White Tiger. In recent comic books, animated shows and movies, specifically the ones featuring Spider-Man, Ava has made her appearance but has not yet come up in the live-action MCU.
